Something That Should Have Gotten Approved Before Posting

My wife is a hypochondriac.
Occasionally I tell her that I have been cheating on her for years.
Not only have I been cheating but, I've contracted AIDs.
That she now has AIDs.
That I am, for the most part, sorry.

It may make me sound like an asshole,
because that is true,
it does
I am
but,
It is part of method of curing her.

At least once a week
I remind her,
in vivid detail,
of ways in which she very likely could die.

I have been doing this for sometime.
Over the years she has become less worried
about death and disease.

And
that's what makes this so hard.

Honey,
I know this probably isn't the best way to tell you but,

I'm a coward.
